Celebrating Lag Baomer in Tel Aviv

Lag Baomer happens each year (according to the Jewish calendar) on the 33rd day of Omer. It is a time where the restrictions of mourning and prayer are lifted for the night. Lag Baomer is considered a spiritual celebration of God's smiling face.

A major tradition for the Jewish locals on Lag Baomer is to give their three-year-old boys their first haircut. For all you non-locals celebrating Lag Baomer, no need to worry. The night is filled with feasting, song, torches, and bonfires. Get your fill of food, fun, and dance the night away during Lag Baomer in Tel Aviv.

Although you may not be sleeping at night, you're going to need a place to sleep off the Lag Baomer celebration. Stay at the Center Chic Hotel in downtown Tel Aviv to so you'r e in the center of the action as you prepare yourself prior to the festival, and walking distance to a bed when you're ready to crash.
